Final Performances - June 7 and 8

Final performances for 1/10 of your Spring grade are on June 7 and 8.  I'd really like some quality pieces.  Remember, anything goes, as long as it's in English.

Debates - June 3

All debates will be held on June 3.  The format, as discussed in class, will be:

2 minutes: position, pro then con
4 minutes: support and rebuttal, pro then con
2 minutes: conclusion, pro then con

Due Tuesday, May 25

Some people believe the way to improve VGS is to honestly (no names) evaluate teachers.  Do you think it's a good idea for students to give their opinion about their teachers?  Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

Due Thursday, May 20

Compare and contrast the advantages of marrying and not marrying in Norway.  After your discussion of the topic, state and support which choice you prefer.

Due Tuesday, May 18

When people move to Norway, some of them decide to follow the customs of Norway.  Others prefer to keep their own customs.  Compare these two choices.  Which one do you prefer.  Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
